That's absolutely gorgeous!

One of the best colours, with one of the best trims! Easily the best looking 4DR saloon on the market IMO and I am slightly envious. smilebiglaugh

That is a great looking car. I am nearly in the market myself for a second hand buy. I look at many on the classifieds here, but each time I saw a 159 my heart skips. Just lovely.

Well, I got it, it's wonderful, lovely 60 mile drive back from norfolk.Got home, tried to fit it in the garage, and scraped the front wing on the concrete pillar. I am now mostly crying as I make out a "Prat of the month" sign to hang round my neck. Insults welcome and deserved.
Cheers

Thats tragic ! But im sure you learnt the lesson...

I would suggest a kit, personally i have buffed out a scratch about as bad as that with the Turtle Wax kits, comes with a laquer that covers the spot nicely when finished - then you sand it down to paint level etc

But what i done was use one of the clay like pens, put that into the scratches, buff it down - then laquer over and it seems to reflect the paint surrounding and so - scratches literally dissapear ! Would link pics but my JTS is in bits lol

But dont beat yourself up too much, i park undergound for work and theres 2 massive pillars in the centre of the bay and i managed to reverse straight into one, i was a bit 'im sure that pillar is close' then bang.. hated myself for it but now i reverse out and park in forward lol

Smart repairer should be able to do that without major pain and expense. Lovely car BTW.

Ouch.

Very, very cheap to fix. Get a smart repair done.

You need a recommendation from your area to be honest. Some smart repaired are good, some less so. Call a couple of franchised dealers in your area and see who they use.

Lovely 159 though.

Sorry, I can't quite agree with that. Most dealers are interested in a cheap fix rather than a quality repair.

I guess we're used to visiting different standards of dealers.

Id still recommend doing yourself.. if it goes wrong - then go to a garage ! But id bet you could make that dissapear and worst case scenario - you lose like £20 tying..
