Just Discovered 24
Discussion
For whatever reason I never watched 24 when it was first on and I have never got round to seeing it. I always thought it would be something I would like but just never got round to it.
Anyway, all 8 series are on Sky Anytime so I thought I would give it a go.
My god, I am never going to leave the house again, at least not for a while. Bloody good isn't it? I don't know how people managed to get by on 1 episode a week. I was up till about 4:00 AM as every time one episode ended I had to watch the next one to find out what happened. His daughter is quite easy to look at as well.

Not just me then.
I've downloaded the first 3 seasons on Sky, just watched S2 episode 22 and having a rest from it before I watch the last 2.
Not sure why I didn't get into it the first time around but I'm pretty glued to it now. I somehow knew it would be the kind of thing I liked but wasn't willing to buy the dvd box set so having the option from Sky to download it is worth all the money I pay them.
I've now downloaded a few things I previously missed thanks to the Sky box sets, just watched Misfits from 4OD and the first season of Arrow. Sadly S2 of Arrow is still showing on Sky and doesn't seem to be available to download at the moment which is I why I went for 24 instead, although I didn't realise just how many of them there are!
The only downside to the Sky box sets? The same adverts and annoying Sky music over and over again, it's only about 30 seconds long but so frustrating! Oh, and the sound/picture going out of sync at the point where there would have been adverts previously and they show the 24 logo.

I watched it when it was repeated on TV well after it came out at first. But they only showed the first 2 series then it disappeared! So I then buy the third series on DVD but never seen series after finishing series 3.
Now I have Netflix. But the above happened so long ago I started from series 1 again. Now halfway through 2nd series (again).

I watched it when it came out. BBC had it, first two series.
It was excellent, BBC treated it most excellently, there was a live chat post every episode and great discussions as to what/where/when etc.
Then Sky snatched the third series...it was st; changed nights, no live chat or special features...and adverts! Plus 24 had seriously ran out of steam.

I've have been watching 24 recently, it is very good for american TV although there are a few cases where the story gets dragged out a little so it can be 24 episodes long. I'm up to series 5 so far which is absolutely sublime, easily the best series so far although you do have to watch the previous series' to get to know the characters.
