I noticed this on the motor circuit diary last year, too. When I saw it this year, I thought I should take advantage of being a relative local.

Does anyone know anything about this event? Can us random punters show up and watch the day or check out the cars in the paddock?

Google is failing me on getting more info!

Went to this last year and it's brilliant, You can just watch the cars race around or make a donation and get a passenger ride in a supercar.

I'll be there from about 1030 onwards, may end up hiding in the aero club if this wind stays like the weatherman says.

I do not like the sound of the Lamborghini's. To high pitch sound. Always reminds me of 125cc motorbikes. Lamborghini's sound like a swarm of bees. There is no grunt, no deep powerful sound to them. Give me a Jaguar C- D- or E-Type, or an ERA Type A or an old Worsley any day.

Some good photo's...... always a great day out and the weather cleared up nicely. With the rain on the drive over from Eastbourne, wasn't sure there would be much happening but as it turned out, well worth the journey.

350wedge nice photo of my car, you always seem to find it.....although it was easier this time parked with all the other impreza's.....

Yes I've spotted your car a few times at Goodwood along with Steve's car as well.

I'm an online member of SES as well, the dark blue classic Impreza in the second paddock was mine. I saw you all drive in and would have moved my car but all the spaces were gone hehe

Doh! DBM MY00 turbo2000.... I nearly came over to say hello, you were sitting in it when we walked past just prior to us leaving. I made comment to the small group how nice the car was (had one way back sold 2006) not many clean standard looking examples left. We were off to do one last walk round before leaving, think we were the last of the Impreza's to leave. Be good to put a face to the name, next time will try and say hello.

Yes come and say hi if you spot me there again, I'll be there a lot this year.

I only bought mine last year, but as you say clean standard cars are really hard to come by which is what I wanted.

The car is (or rather was before I bought it!) a genuine one owner car with full Subaru service history. Completely standard other than a backbox. Its giving decent power as well, 222bhp on a rolling road last year.
