Couple of phone pics from yesterday - Alderley Edge. Other half reckons she saw a grey Huracan there on Friday (but she's been known to be mistaken in the past...).

Hi there,

No sorry, made a point of looking for the number but was not sure where to find it.

Regards

Tim
To be fair they've hidden quite well: it's snuck away in the rear 3/4-light, I think on the right of the car (if memory serves me correctly).

Did you see what chassis number it was, please? I bet it looked out of this world.

Correct, there is a small plaque in the right rear window.

Good. Then I haven't quite reached the stage where my memory plays tricks on me for the important things! hehe

Is Alderly Edge a decent place to 'spot' supercars?

Not bad.
It's not central London, but you'll see plenty of newer stuff around there and Wilmslow area.

A good saturday in Alderley Edge you will see a very wide variety, if not the numbers you would in London. We have seen Ford Model T, Old and new Mustang, All Aston Martin newer models (except One-77) plus DB5, DB6 and Volante, McLaren several times, a huge variety of Ferrari and Lambourghini as well as more "fun" stuff like Ariel Atom, KTM X-Bow and Lomax (property of Slomax on here.
Best bet is Wilmslow from just before lunch through to mid-afternoon then move on to Alderley Edge. A visit to Ferrari Manchester should give you one or two 458 Speciale as well as many other Ferrari, that is next to Porsche. Aston Martin is in the centre of Wilmslow.

Hi there,

Popped into Lamborghini Birmingham this morning on my way back from a meeting in town.

Great surprise to see this in the showroom. A RHD Diablo SE30 in Viola, simply stunning.

cloud9 Thanks for reminding me, i've got to win the lottery this week as there's an SE30 going to be up for auction in August. biggrin

(And no i'm not telling anyone where - it's MINE!)

Didn't get a decent photo, so wont bother putting it up but a black Koenigsegg CCX going down the A329 to Bracknell made my day yesterday, Probably the super Vettura car as I cant imagine there are to many about.

HUGE amount of lottery win want going on with that thing.

This red one has been hooning about lately;

One of two identical V12Vs that live with a couple of streets of each other;

And possibly a couple for the bad number plate thread..!

My neck of the woods! Locksbottom - I believe the 458 and R8 owner(s) are related - regularly meet up there (one usually in a new Ferrai of some sort)

Love the 550. One of a very small number of WSRs in UK.

Despite it's regular inclusion in the 'Worst Car' and 'Ugliest Car' lists regularly trotted out by the motoring press, I really like the William Towns Aston Martin Lagonda (see also Aston Martin DBS, Jensen-Healey) too. Only about 650 built over about 15 years and only about 50 left taxed and roadworthy in UK.
