Supercars spotted, some rarities (vol 6)

Thought it was a Ferrari F50 when I saw this car in the Maidstone area on Saturday. Transpired to be a CONTERA mdi which are extremely rare hypersports cars. All I know about them is that they are British made and use a rear engined 'V' configuration.
Sadly I did not have a camera or phone on me at the time of the spot but you can see some images if you use Google.

Here's a rarity I spotted on my way to work last night...

Tidy MkII Orion 1.6 GL with factory fitted tow bar. Nice to see a GL as mostly Ghia models survived. There are only eleven licensed Orion MkI and MkII's on the road with five declared SORN so as rare as many of the suprcar stuff here.

I had a maroon one as a company car....hated it, it was replaced with a Saphire 1.8 lx that was as slow as a slow thing thats dead. Quit the Company and got a Cavalier 2.0 sri. ...forgive the quality of the photo'; it's a still from my dash camera.

My old man had a black Mk2 Orion GLS when I was 4 - 8 (roughly). Used to let me attempt to wash it on Saturdays while listening to old David Bowie cassettes, I liked that car

I dont want to argue on this subject as I do think some rare cars are worth posting (not Orions yet, nor an average GTV) on this thread; but that number really doesn't sound right at all. Orion Ls or GLs, perhaps..Gompo said:

Ha! I posted a pic of a Renault 11 TXE the other day and if that Fuego pops up in the neighbourhood again, then that will grace these pages too.

I'm all for capturing stuff like that (my thread on Autosh!te is full of it), more interesting than the GTV or Orion. My last photo posted in this thread was a Wartburg Tourist, not quite a supercar either.
