I'd imagine it doesn't do such long journeys normally otherwise it would be driven not transported, and also probably not in Winter on salty, potholed and stone-strewn A-roads and whatever else that long journey might take in. Also, if he (I'm assuming it's a he) is not in it, driving it and enjoying it why would he expose it to any risk, there's no gain... and for the sake of a couple of hundred quid? I'm assuming also that this is the owner who has arranged the transport and not an auction house or broker - a stone chip could wipe out their fee. Also I don't want to sound like a snob but not sure i'd entrust my P&J to some bloke in a stty old truck, covered or no.
Perhaps It's 'Just another car' to the owner. Fair play to him but you would have thought some sort of cover at this time of year would be appropriate.Any idea of the value?
