That's a 911 Sport Classic.
Not as rare as a 4.0, but still very limited run and a great spot!
That's the badger! Completely forgot about the sport classic.
It's not.

It's actually rarer.
Porsche built 600 4.0 but only 250 Sport Classics.
Whether there are more of the SC in your area is a different thing, however.

So THAT'S what it was.

A couple of months ago, on the M40, I was passed by an unknown 4x4 that was all covered in the black and white stuckers that hide the shape. I promptly forgot about it but that pic makes me 99% sure it was the new Bentley.
Nah, Black & White camo and M40 means its 99% likely to be one of the upcoming JLR products. My guess would be a mule for the Jag F-Pace.

Wasn't the Sport Classic based on the 997.2, making this a copy?

2013 Alfa Romeo MiTo SBK in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

It may look like a normal MiTo, bar some cosmetic touches but this is a limited edition with just 28 examples in the UK.

It's certainly possible, the M40 is clearly a route to the JLR factory but it didn't look like anything LR was making. Good call on the F-Pace though, it's possible bit it didn't have a Jag grill on so if it was they've concealed it with prodigious cunning.

It's very obviously just a basic Carrera with a ducktail spoiler and some fancy wheels added.

Aside from the arresting colour scheme, the TURBO2 decals should be positioned just below the door crease line (like the brown one in Readers' Cars). It was only the R5 Turbo 1's "TURBO" decals which were located half way up the door so above that line. As a pedant of all things R5 Turbo, it is my duty to point such things out. getmecoat

haha fair enough, I don't know enough about old Renaults to know. Even though my dad had two 21 Turbos when I was a kid!

I assume the decal was mispositioned after the paint job? I also assume they aren't standard wheels? or if they are they have been polished.

It also has front bumper and stripes. OP, did you see the interior colour? If it's brown then it's definitely genuine. Looks the real deal to me.

They look like Gottis - the aftermarket wheel of choice for Renault/Alpine. nerd
Although the traditional look is having the wheel center painted in car color.
