if pedrosa was in F1 he would be signed up in ferrari in a second.

great rider, consistently there or round about but far from spectacular to watch.

he was a bit of a disapointment on sunday, i forgot he was there really but one cant help but think at a race that saw so many bin it that maybe he went "fk getting an injury on the first race" the season is just that a season.

if he could go injury free for a season and finish like he has done so many times in the past he could win the championship, he is never going to win it by pushing beyond his limits to catch up with marc

If you had Rossi, Marquez, Stoner, Lorenzo and Pedrosa together in a race with 5-laps to go, then I would put Dani last every time.
Yup.

Would that be true if they were all on works Hondas though?
Bradl is on a works bike, Bautista's isn't far off and they aren't pushing podiums regularly enough.

Agree completely that there's a gulf in machinery, but it's what you do with what you've got that makes Mr Nakamoto take interest.

Bradl will have to excel this year to keep that seat, same for Bautista.

Redding got passed Hayden Sunday, just as an example of how he can perform against an ex-world champion on identical machinery.

There are only 4 out and out factory bikes, they don't get given out without someone showing absolute class. I just don't see that class from anyone else in the field.

So why would Honda take a punt on any of them, unless they have a great season....

Maybe the plan is too keep hold of pedrossa for a few years then bring in Alex Marquez?

re moto gp tonight , it was ok but no more than that, seemed a bit confused like a biking top gear, would of liked a lot more behind the scenes stuff from the previous race or pieces on riders fitness training or just what they do when not racing.

interesting that mel sykes is into clay pidgeon shooting surely there's a scoop her interviewing colin edwards at a shooting range, if she had this reputation as the english woman who's good a t shooting then riders are going to remember her?

Agreed, as much as I like him he's just not a "Fighter".
He'd rather ride around safely just close enough to bag a podium position if/when the leaders take each other out, rather than get all argy bargy himself for a position.

He's a great rider though, just not a fighter.
I'd say Stoner would'nt fair to well either with a handfull of laps left against MM,VR and JL.
His toys would be launched.

I don't think so. It is just a damn shame we won't get to see it.
I think its sad that people can't see past Stoners talent to see how bloody good he was on a bike! Maybe MM would beat him, but it would be extremely spectacular, and certainly not easy!

As for Pedrosa, he isn't a bad number 2, just not world champ material as he just can't find that extra bit when he needs it, or ride around a problem.

Maybe it's just that bike fans hate Aussie bike racers

Brookes and Jack Miller are pretty popular.

Not at all. Kimi is dour and dry, Stoner is a moaning whinger. There's a huge difference.

There is no difference between Champions in any motorsport, they all whinge and moan. That's how they get their way and win. Lorenzo moans at Ramón Forcada, Pedrosa moans at Mike Leitner, Rossi moans at Silvano Galbusera, Nicky Hayden moans at Mauro Noccioli, Dovisioso moans at Christian Pupulin, Cal Crutchlow moans at Neal Hodgson......I mean Daniele Romagnoli and so on and so on. If they don't moan don't hire them they have no drive and will never win.

I know it's not cool, but I really liked the BBC team, yes there were a few catch phrases, but I liked them - I personally am quite happy to know Stavros has got his knee down in the commentary booth.

Brilliant race but the show is pretty dire IMHO, are the two commentators the same two who used to do the Eurosport version all the hardcore fans used to gush about? They're bloody awful - it doesn't help that to my ears they sound the same, so it sounds like someone with multi-personality disorder arguing with himself.
My heart sank when I realised we had no option other than to listen to those clowns. The pit lane interviewed was dire and I thought Cal was a dhead in the way he blanked Hodgson. That wouldn't have happened had Matt Roberts been the one standing there...

I think Marquez will be to Pedrosa what Rossi was to Biaggi. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride...

Don't you have a "Voices OFF/ON" option?
