Out of interest, what top speed were people achieving on the long straights? Sounds like 4th or 5th in Jeff's V12V.
Into 5th down both straights yes

Difficult to concentrate on the digital speedo as it jumps several mph at a time when accelerating hard. The pit straight was about 2-3 mph slower on average compared to the Bentley straight for me. Saw 136 once but usually 134, the appeal of looking for my braking point was just too strong.. hehe

That's a great piece of software Cockers! Do you know of anything similar for an iPhone?

Saw an indicated 133 in 4th at the end of Bentley. My exit speed from Williams wasn't too great to be honest. Actually my exit speed from corners in general is pretty poor due to inexperience. But I got quicker throughout the day.

I loved Bomb Hole (please no EFAs redcard ) and round Coram. I spent a couple of pleasurable laps chasing the V12S quite well round there.

At the end of the pit straight I saw 124 in 4th. Again exit of Murray at around 35-40 didn't help.

I think I will treat myself to the PDC next year.

It's my first track day, but definitely not my last...

134 was my highest entering Brundle - if you pardon the expression.
yikes LD, well done. Although I wasn't checking every lap, I didn't see anymore than 126 along Bentley. If I think about it, for some reason I don't understand, Brundle was one bend I never seemed to quite master, you know, have that 'I know where I need to be line' confidence,,but I will next time. yes
Don't congratulate me, congratulate Doctor Mike and his merry men.

Thinking further about the day, my contribution to the performance of the car was hanging on to the steering wheel and pressing hard on the pedals. There wasn't even a great deal of gear shifting going on for me, such was the tractability of the engine (and the need to hold on to something tightly). I respect the car even more now than I did before the track day. Love it.

You need this, really helps with not having to hold on to the wheel to hold yourself

I used to use those in the S2000
worked OK, bit of a PITA for every day use and not simple to remove
I ended up finding a way to lock the inertia part of the seat belt electronically wink

Perhaps if everyone paid, the balance could carry over to the next event?

That's the first time I've ever seen the inside of the Tandoori express without the slightest hint of red.
Looks fun
