Recommendations please.

The car, although low-mileage, had spent it's first eight years in central London, so at purchase I knew the clutch was on the verge at only 49k miles.

Now at 62k miles I've had the first slippage, so it needs to be done.

Greenwood have a good rep, but could anyone here please give a personal recommendation of Legacy 3.0R work?

Thanks.

I have had a couple of services at a main dealer (Bulldog Subaru) and they were good but they were just a bit too far away so I started going to TFS Racing the last 4 years (http://www.tfsracing.co.uk/Home_of_TFS_Racing.html)

Really glad I did:
- You know exactly who is going to work on your car and that they are very experienced
- Very good value especially for large jobs (had the clutch replaced when the engine needed to come out for a sump replacement)
- Always some interesting work going on that you can have a good gander at (Stewart keeps his monster dragster there, often see Jollygreenmonsters green dragster)

I think he is charging VAT on labour from March 1st but I would imagine that he is still very competitive compared to greenwood (though only heard good things about grd as well).

Hi, just needed a forum username and I live in Fleet....near a wood. Surprisingly it is very rarely taken on forums as well which is handy.

For various reason, mostly location plus recommendations, I had the clutch done yesterday at SMD in Newhaven.

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Southern-Motor-Deve...

They really know what they were doing with the Spec.B, all the tricks on which bits have to come off to gain access, they had the flywheel skimmed, and all done by the end of the day.

Brent and the guys spotted a few non-critical issues (that I knew about) and gave excellent advice about what could be done, OE or upgrades, when the time comes.

Great service and a top bunch - am I allowed to Name-and-Recommend on here? hehe
