Hello all,

Following discussions with a friend, we were curious as to the event capacities for the three Goodwood events.

FoS must be the biggest, I'd guess 180k people over 4 days?

Revival, tricky, 80k people over 3 days?

We mostly wanted to compare this with projected attendance for the 72nd Members Meeting which will presumably be much smaller than the revival in terms of numbers.

Can anyone give us some real figures?

Not sure on FoS but Revival is I believe 50,000 per day and 72nd projected 20,000 max but likely to be considerably less.

The figures on the Goodwood website for 2013 are FoS: 196,000 and Revival: 148,000. Both record attendances and as as both were sell-outs I assume that is also the capacity figures.

The capacity for MM is, as stated, 20,000 - with 13,000 the break-even point that GRRC has been making exerted efforts to reach.

Blimey, 198k FoS is mental but then 148k Revival seems enormous too!

The Members Meeting really is going to be something special, I know it's only 2 days but compared to revival that is tiny numbers.

It should make it very pleasant to be at the 72MM the revival is just crazy trying to move about.

I am unreasonably excited for 72nd MM; the low numbers, insane car list and ok weather forecast will surely make it unforgettable.
