I did deliberate regarding GTS interior - but didn't think it was worth it as you get extended leather and alcantara as part of the GTS model in any case - I didn't really like the carbon add ons and I wanted a black centre dial like my 997 GTS - deviated stitching is nice - but I can take it or leave it.
So I spent the money on the seats and the exterior colour - GT silver which is really special. Only slight regret is not getting DAB - but I can do that with my iPOD/Phone.
Model designation delete - just because I think i wanted a clean looking car and all the badges on the back is bit of a pain for cleaning.
Nice spec. Adaptive seats are fab and well worth getting IMHO.

Totally agree - but you'll have to remove the latest corporate P O R S C H E lettering yourself.

Like the spec! I was driving mine on SS today and being dry and winding B type roads here today I was reminded how wonderfully balanced and agile the car is. The SS is not harsh and in my humble opinion sublime. Presumably your spec is with the standard sports steering wheel with paddles? I didn't spec the 18 way seats which -currently- I am not regretting as I find the seats to be fine with manual adjustability (usually only me drives it though so once set it stays like that for weeks ;-). I did spec seat cooling though... Can't opine on their efficiency or usefulness as the seat heating has been in use so far, but I have had that option on a Nissan and used it more than I expected to in the summer.

Great fun!

I hope Santa has time to deliver it to the dealership well before his main duties on Christmas night nuts

Hahah, yes, basically I believe Santa will break in his sledge delivering my CGTS, just before his long run.

I still consider GT Silver optimal on the CGTS, and although biaised, every time I see my racing yellow BGTS I don't think it can be beaten on the Boxster:

cool

Is it possible to retrofit the "ashtray" lid; smokers pack? I hate the open cubby in the centre dash on mine...

Can't disagree, stunning cars TDT & cibble10. Yellow and Black an awesome combo on the Boxster, and think the GTS exterior, wheels (and black number plate smile really make it!

I'd be interested in doing this too....that cubby hole just gathers dust and is a pain to clean!

Same here. Sadly an e-bay search came back with options for a full black centre console... Hopefully there might be a more pragmatic solution, but...

What do you think of the PTV? I'm glad I specced it (Even thought I've not driven one with it!)

It's pretty noticeable imvho - there are a couple of right/lefts near mine, where at (ahem) speed, you can feel it doing its thing - I can easily carry 5mph more than I felt comfy doing in my GT3 through there.

I was hoping it would be quite subtle in its activation. Oh we'll! Shame you can't spec LSD separately. Does it feel like traction control in its application?

You can feel the car do a tiny "twitch" as it does its thing, not anything horrific, but you can tell it's working.

That's interesting. In my old 981 BS I only ever felt it in lower speed corners, where I could feel the car tighten its line. Maybe I wasn't trying hard enough in the fast corners wink
