This would be the first time ive ever wanted to Levy to under value the asset its probably also the one time he is most likely to over value it.

Not really, there are ways round it as both those teams continue to farcically prove.

Anyway I wouldn't want success that way and the septic owners dont do that anyhow, it'll be a company that would buy the club not one man.
If they are looking to spend £600-800m then regular CL/Success is going to be required if they ever want to see a return on their investment. That isn't going to happen without spending a lot of cash on players. The club isn't at the price where they could just sit on it for a few years and then flip it on for a profit.
I agree with you, the key words are 'Return on investment' that's why the Chelsea city comparisons are useless their owners aren't interested in returns hence they can flout the FFP rules with bogus sponsorship deals etc.

The comparison maybe useless but we still have to compete with them. Competing with doped clubs who don't care how much they lose is very difficult if you are trying to run a proper business, within the constraints of FFP.

hmm Cain Hoy Enterprises launched YESTERDAY

Massive press today. Well done their PR Firm

I think it's a huge PR scam from an investment vehicle that has so far bought 0 companies ever....

It's more likely that the company has been formed purely for the purpose of taking over Spurs . Not uncommon.

Club have denied any discussions in an official statement. So there are definitely discussions then.

Match day woohoo

Certainly need to bounce back after the poor performance a fortnight ago.

Maybe a chance to see our new signings in action.

Looks like slowly bringing in the new boys. Vert is injured...those two CBs don't inspire confidence though.

Typical...deflection and OG.

Hit the woodwork twice...penalty decisions turned down.

Balls...had 2-1 in the 'thon as well!

Excellent game today, very entertaining. You had masses of possession and we undoubtedly rode our luck for long periods of the game but we could have pipped it right at the end.

Yup, you know you're not going to have a great season when you can only get a draw at home to Spurs - I expect us to lose a couple of home games to the bigger teams, but we should really be beating mid-table teams like Spuds.

wink Just getting practice in before I head off to my mate's birthday party in the village tonight - 80% of folks there are delusional Spuds wink

Enjoy it, judging by your post it would appear you've already started. wink

I was pleased with our performance today we were brilliant and didn't get the result we deserved. After the lesson we got in our last game I'm really pleased with the way we bounced back, we are a work in progress but there are promising signs.

70% possession for the away side sounds good to me, shame Kane scored a late own goal as 3 points would have been welcome.

I may have had a tipple or two! In reality, happy with the result...!
