Long shot: Anyone have a spare V55/5 form?

Due to a disorganised mechanic I have had to ask the DVLA to send me the above form (you cant download it from the web), but I was wondering if anyone might have a spare one by per chance (preferable in the London area).

The one to register a used European or US car. You can't download it or pick it up from post office unfortunately

Ah yes, part of the import pack from local dvla office, will have a look but it's been a while.
Bearing in mind it's Saturday tommorow what's the urgency ?

Hi, just got in and had a look, sorry no luck.
There is a better chance my dad may have one over the road from me so will check in the morning, we normally pick up a few for when you make a mistake :-)

Hi, glad your sorted, you do know that the import process has changed fairly recently and you don't just need said form like the old days ?

It comes with the import pack and/or is orderable from DVLA

Both according to Google just now so where does the eight weeks come into it?

If doesn't arrive within a couple of weeks I would submit another request - it seems a bit hit and miss at the moment, I wonder if they send them out in batches.

+ I, request another. There was a delay and my second one arrived before the first. So I did have a spare but binned it, sorry.

Just a note: however nicely you ask DVLA to return important documents (like my 23-year old Italian combined CoC, reg, etc. - a lovely piece of paper which should have been kept with the car) they won't, saying they need to return these to the issuing agency as per EU rules (who then shred it!).
