Having picked up the photography bug, and realizing that there are only so many photos you can take of the piers between the Tyne and seaham, I'm keen to try out new locations for landscape, sunset, feature, waterfall etc shots. Beside the obvious High Force, blinking eye, Penshaw Monument etc where are the easily accessible places in the north east that would be suitable. I'm particularly interested in good landscapes and fast flowing water.

Strange that you live in a place all your life then struggle to think of all the fabulous locations for photography!

Be obliged if anybody can share good locations please.

Hareshaw Linn is a short walk from Bellingham in Northumberland, I've not seen it in person myself but it's supposed to be worth a look.

Great suggestions thanks everybody. Was not aware of Joes site so some good inspiration there - obviously need to train my eyes a bit better as was at Roseberry topping last year and Embleton this week but I didn't see anything like some of those pictures!
