How about BMF (British Military Fitness)? I don't do it but a mate does.

People of all ages go and they do social events too.

May be worth a google.

Is that when some short, angry, stocky bloke shouts at you in the local park?

We have 1600 acres at work. Your go.
I live on the edge of the Solent. Access to endless miles of nothing at my soggy toes.
Sounds heavenly. Beachcombing, fishing, crabbing, etc.

There are very few people I can stand the sight of, and those I can are my very good friends. Socialising for the sake of it fills me with horror.
Sounds like we'll be once we move. We'll escape the hell of a town centre & be in a village of twelve houses. In general people are just bloody annoying & should be avoided at all costs.

ETA: six hours with a SDS drill & the dog for company today, I wasn't bored but I do ache a bit hehe

50/50 Option - attend PH meets. You'll get new friends but they'll all be saddo internet addicted freaks like you wink
I've met quite a few PHers now and they are all brilliant people! Best part is we rarely talk about cars!
Most of them I've meet are great too, but what sort of person goes to internet meets? wink
Is this the time I mention I go on several internet meets? *slinks off*

.......One thing I have noticed, as I've got older, is I want to fit far more into every day as I now realise how precious our time is. I adore video games ..........
I too feel guilty if I'm not doing something productive for most of every day I am off work. I also love video games, but feel terrible just lounging on the sofa during the day, and usually leave it to the evening.

During the day I'll either be in the garage, or doing something round the house. I mentally count down the days until I go offshore again, and every day needs to be filled with something.

And how old are you?

I seem to be losing more friends the older i get and i no longer have friends who like to go out for a good old pissup on the weekends. I find on my days off i have nothing to do except go to the shop, gardening or the gym. It depresses me that i seem to live such a boring life at 25 but people are just drifting further away the older we all get.

Help, and i have a girlfriend and do stuff with her and my mate comes round a couple of times a week but apart from that i seem to havd nothing to do and im getting bored.

Id like something to do where maybe i could meet people aswell.
My God, it's my life, apart from the gardening and terrible grammar (mine is merely poor).

If inspiration is failing you, join/try half a dozen random ones to try them and just drop the ones that bore.

I'm much the same as the OP. Would love some stuff to do on my days off but:

I have a crap car, so going for a drive just for the hell of it doesn't excite me.

I cant run / swim / climb / jog etc

You could learn to if you fancied giving it a go. I couldn't climb once. And I hate heights. No excuses. nuts

At 25 I either spend time tinkering (cars and house mostly), with the girlfriend, helping with the Cadets / Scouts or catching up with sleep.

There is always something to be doing. Get yourself a little project car if you have the space, made some great friends through owners clubs. Get learning to drive and aim to get the car ready for when you pass.

Cerebral Palsy stops me doing most of the things unfortunately frown I could certainly give it a go, but its not something I would want to do on a day off for pleasure!! hehe

We'll today on my day off, I earned some major Sister Points. My brother is special needs & doesn't really go out and do stuff especially since my Mum died 3 years ago, so for his birthday I bought us tickets to see Status Quo. I'm not really a fan per say it it was worth it to see him playing a mean air guitar hehe

Oh and I work in estate/block property management & I spent my morning drafting a letter telling off a leaseholder about their noisy tenant & quoting various clauses at them. My dad (who I used to work for) hadn't done anything about it and it tok me all of 20minutes to knock together. Bus man's holiday and all that!

Oh right. I don't really know enough about that to advise. There are plenty of other things that might be safer (if that's relevant?).
