These guys transformed my Impreza classic when I had it.

They know the geometry inside out.

Cheers for the quick response do you think they would give me the set up as I'm just over 3 hours away from them so sort of out of the question

Subaru alignment is not the black art it may seem. It's quite fun learning and experimenting, dialing in personal preferences.

The best option is to establish a reputation with a local garage who have a Hunter laser set-up. They will be serious enough about alignment to have tech who 'knows enough' to get a decent job on your Scooby.

Alignment depends on the rest of the set-up, but basically you need a decent amount of negative camber all round (little more up front) say near enough -2° and then a little toe-in all round

Powerstation will charge you ~£100 and set what they know to be best. Last week, my local Chemix with a Hunter system charged me £50 to fit a set of Tyres and tweak my alignment. The most I've paid is £50 for a full alignment which involved adjusting everything, including the tech 'flipping the pin' for the free castor mod increase

Steering has better weight, more tendency to self-straighten, and will give increased grip up front mainly due to maintaining dynamic geometry. Worthwhile

Subaru's are pretty simple alignment wise and you shouldn't pay big bucks.

As standard you can:
Adjust front Camber and Tracking (Toe in, Out)
Adjust Rear Tracking (Toe In, Out)

Your camber bolts will allow you to add more camber at the rear (Camber adjustable top mounts make it easier and add even more camber).
Camber at the front is via the existing camber bolt but again top mounts make it easier and allow you to add more camber (you won't get -2 degrees I think with just the existing camber bolt, I think you might be able to add a second bolt on the bottom to add more (or add the top mounts)).

Caster is not adjustable on Subarus by default, you can add more by going with the so called Ant Lift Kit which pushes the bottom suspension mount slightly forward, increasing caster.

and that is about it as far as I know!

The top mounts are adjustable they are set to -1 at the moment cheers for all the responses guys anything else to better handling on a classic impreza did our first track day at Bedford it had plenty of grip but on occasion we could make the wheel arch hit the wheel so we are trying to eliminate the roll

just re read bonesx posts, didn't know you could flip the pin to add more caster without an ALK but it makes sense.
