2007 Saab 9-5 what fault code reader?

Hi Folks,

Does anyone have any recommendation for a code reader? I got my first fault up and have had to throw it to a garage to diagnose!

I have a laptop for the garage with various workshop manuals and parts catalogues on it so it could be a USB based one rather than stand alone.

for bog standard codes anything will do. I have a £20 ebay thing that reads codes and gives some real time stuff.

other than that a genuine tech2 is £525

I have a wifi obd interface and an app on my phone. That lets me interrogate and clear codes on our 9-5.
