As title, it's probably a long shot, but it's worth an ask!
I'm currently working down in Purfleet, South Essex, and will be for the next 4 and a half weeks. I've paid for a hotel this week, but for the four weeks after that have nothing sorted yet. It's been proving difficult to rent a room for such a short time through the usual channels (spareroom, flatshare etc), so I was wondering if anyone has a room or an annexe that they may be able to rent me for Mondays through until Fridays for the next four weeks?!
I'm tidy, keep myself to myself, go out a couple of times a week and would be willing to pay around 100 a week?!

Hello mate, I've asked, but either no one has got anywhere or it's a case of being with the same people all day and not wanting to be with them in the evenings!
Just to clarify to anyone else who's read this, when I said 'go out a couple of times a week' I didn't mean going out and getting home at silly o'clock in the morning!

This is going to sound weird, but I can't for the life of me remember the blokes name.
This house here with the swimming pool, he rents rooms in the house and when I was last there he was in the process of building a separate outbuilding to rent out rooms in. They were rented out by the week to people in exactly your position, had a quick google search to see if it was advertised anywhere, but it is still word of mouth by the looks of it.
It's the one with a wall around it and electric metal gates.

Top bloke and he owns a nice pub over in Stanford too. If I remember his name or can figure out where to get his number from I'll let you know but I wouldn't count on it, go press the buzzer on the wall
