Deputy Chairman of UKIP, Suzanne Evans, on an unnoticed private members bill that passed through the Commons.

Seems Scottish LibDem MP Michael Moore (his bill) thought it more important to get (sneak) this through, than being up north of the border campaigning on the Referendum. So now it's law we have to cough up 0.7 per-cent of our annual Gross National Income (currently £11 billion) on Foreign Aid.

'Very' common-sense article by UKIP dep. chairman.

No doubt in a replay of some African president spending tens of millions on a private jet whilst we are disbanding the Queen's flight on the whim of some bh Blair, then Salmond will probably find it highly amusing to recommission Britannia.

Any figures? Any strong areas that might yield an MP?

Well if Farage and co play this right ... and they have executed a very strong domestic strategy over the last 18months ...then I can see UKIP being big big winners from this Scottish farce. The established parties will have either lost the Union or left the country in a very divided state. And a very unhappy one. That will only be exacerbated by increased gratuities to Scotland. Perfect breeding grounds for a very strong opposition & protest party.

I am very hopeful that the Scottish question will precipitate further dissatisfaction in the UK with UK politics and politicians.

Whatever the outcome this disaster has been sprung on the unsuspecting and unrepresesented English Majority without even the right of a vote. This entire business has once again highlighted the Boys club that UK politics has become with Gordon Brown. Tony Blair, David Cameron, Nick Clegg and Ed Milliband standing shoulder to shoulder because they seek a common end. Their gravy train continuing! And nothing else. The taxpayers are just mugs to them.

Bear a thought for the poor taxpayers in this. Predominately Englishmen who are once again remain unconsidered and unconsulted and expected to just cough up. I would hope this will change and a strong opposition and protest party coud be an excellent outcome for England. We certainly need something to redress the balance.

How could UK politicians lose sight of the need to consult and consider who should be consulted to proposed changes to condtitution of the UK? Because they have no interest in the electorate or the efficacy of the policies. Just in keeping their place at the gravy train. Cameron ought to lose the leadership of the Conservative party if this entirely self inflicted disaster falls upon him. Salmond has totally out manoevered and out planned him. That in itself should end Cameron's career. No doubt he will easel him way on for a little longer.

This is the really important thing.

The English will demand a vote if the Scottish vote to stay in the UK.

They already have free prescriptions and free higher education. Cameron, et al, have promised much more.

Why should we pay taxes to keep Scotland within the UK?

Why would I want my children to pay tax to keep Scotland within the UK?

If the Scots want to stay part of the UK, then they should accept the same terms as the rest of us. If they want special treatment, then we should have the right to say "No".

I agree that the whole process of the integration and costs of union need to be reconsidered. I do not think any Englishmen would support the Scots being favoured financially in this arrangement. I think and I hope that fundamental changes are coming to UK politics.

Yep basically as I wrote earlier it's possible proof that the closing of ranks, politicians, civil service, business leaders is no longer a certainty to carry the argument on the basis of we're big, you're small, we're right, you're wrong, it's all too complicated for you peasants to understand.

And rightly so that they can no longer get away with it.

I notice Paddy Power offering 4/6 odds (66% potential profit in other words) on UKIP to win >9.5% of the vote in the GE next year...that HAS to be worth a large punt!

"The Ukip leader says that West must stop poking the Russian leader with a stick and realise he is 'on our side' in the fight against terror"

Discussing this in the early hours on LBC for an hour. 80% of callers agreed with Farage's stance.

The phrase 'tail wagging the dog' is a perfect fit for the current UK/Scotland situation.

Cameron has a very strong hand with his mantra "Vote UKIP get Labour".
I for one am afraid that this might be true, any ideas what UKIP can say to counter these fears ?
