Noticably more refined with the top on (although prone to leaking).
Very much so.

Also, plenty of that Gummifledge (sp?) silicone lube on the mating seals between hardtop and body: mine squeaked and chirped for England without regular and liberal coatings of the stuff.

Being that Derin probably won't see this, I've signed him up to meet "other like minded men in his area"

By" like minded men" you clearly mean other barge beards... It was you, wasn't it!

Is Derin from that parish then? That's where I live. Alas you can't pop round for a cuppa and barge talk as I'm over the bridge in work.

He's a bit further north, up Shropshire way. I live in Northumberland but by a twist of fate I do a lot of work in South Wales and Derin had mentioned to me recently that he was around and about and could meet up. I really like it down here. The landscape is beautiful and the people are friendly like they are up north. Although I'm confining myself to the big roads today (I've come from Derby this morning, M42, M5, M50, A40 then Heads of the Valley road to Swansea), I sometimes take the back routes and enjoy myself. Presently emailing from the rather nice Spa/Total petrol station just north of Monmouth. One of these days I'll get nicked hot-footing it back home up the A40, though...

I am around!
I'm currently sitting in the garden trying to repaint some metric wheels I got for the E34 525i yesterday.
I only needed four for but the chap insisted I had to buy all nine!

laugh

p.s had to drive in a borrowed van to Ross-on-Wye to collect them. It's takes longer in reality than it looks on the map! mad

If you definitely have no interest in pulling the skin from the proverbial rice pudding, then the X300 3.2 is the one hehe
