hi all,

my focus has recently has these twon lights come on, anybody with experience of these? ive googled it and its thrown up a few things, basically it sounds like abs sensors behind the wheels, but i dont know which one or how to test them, and i try not to do the whole 70 quid per hour dealer rubbish, or garages in general, i took the front two out and cleaned/checked them, both fine, lights still on, so im really not sure what to do

anybody the same problem?

Without pluggin into a diagnostic scanner it's going to be very difficult to discover the issue

On a focus the most
Common faults I've come across are either the loom where it runs across the the hub near where it plugs in or a worn wheel bearing causing uneven signals

hi neil

today I got the following codes

C1155 - LF WHEEL SENSOR CIRCUIT FAILURE
C1234 - RF WHEEL SENSOR INPUT SIGNAL
C1156 - LF WHEEL SENSOR INPUT SIGNAL

further investigation is required

now I did speak to the mechanic/tech and he did say he finds it hard to believe they would both go wrong at the same time, especially as I resistance tested them and all four has the same ohms.
I did find some information on the wheel break degrading can muck up the signal of the sensors, maybe this is a possibility, either way im stumped as what to do....I don't want to spend a small fortune on a ford focus, even if it low mileage and clean.

Did you have the ignition on when you were testing them? This would have caused the fault codes you have got
