Blancpain 2014 Brands Hatch 17/18th May

Hi

While I've done a few track days at Brands, I've never gone as a spectator.

I'm wanting to go on the sunday 18th May to watch the GT racing.

Where's the best place to watch?

What's the parking like if you just turn up on the day about 9am/10am say?

Anyone else going?

It's the GP circuit, so you'll be wanting to have a wander around the circuit, lots of good places to watch, quite a few where you're higher than the cars. We always park on South Bank, tending to get there just before 9 and then go for brekkie. Good circuit to spectate at, doesn't get too busy for the GT races, especially round the back of the circuit.

I'm thinking about going.

I'm still not totally sure about how this thing differs from the BP series that's at Silverstone the following weekend.. apart from having a smaller entry. Is it the same regulations between the Sprint and Endurance series ? Their website is pretty unclear about it.

The Blancpain GT Series is now comprised of two Championships, the Blancpain Endurance Series and the Blancpain Sprint Series. Brands is the Sprint series and Silverstone is the Endurance Series. Same rules and regs for both, FIA GT3.
