Point well made. Waiting for Father's Day present on that one.

In the interim it's homage to my Scud smile

Love what you've done with the wheels. Huge improvement. Be nice to see a few better quality pics.

Went for some hoonage over the Dales and to Whitby in the TurboS. Snapped these along the way.

chels - if you don't mind my asking, what did it cost to add mk2 wheels to your mk1?

When I brought the car the fake gen2 wheels were on it, they sell on eBay for £600 but never buy fake wheels.
They are weak and heavy and really bad quality.
I brought a oem gen 1 turbo set off eBay and it feels like a different car with the proper set of wheels on it.

aha, no I wouldn't - not thinking of changing, was just curious, gen1 wheels have really grown on me - weird as I really disliked them when turbo first came out

Thanks for the ride today in this Nick. My word. Savagely quick and composed through the corners and easily putting all the power down of enlarged 3.8 Mezger by FVD with FVD hybrid VTGs. Nick can really drive the car too. Can't wait to see VBOX figures 0-300kph as I suspect its quicker than most cars. Really nice conversion.
