Ive just had a massive clearout of my old bedroom since ive been visiting my folks. I came across all of my old Hornby train sets and some other bits and bobs. Ive got no use for it so am looking to sell it on. Is there anyone ln here who eould be able to give me some evaluations on what i have? Might even do a deal if anyone here is interested in it.
Will upload pictures shortly

I'm no real expert as I model N Gauge, but looking at what you have I would guess there is around £100 to £125 worth of bits.

eBay is probably the best bet for shifting it, or failing that via one of the model railway forms.

Can't help with the valuation but I need to go back to my parent's to get all my old train models. My youngest daughter wants to use it / play with it with me. smile

I loved my model railway when I was little and when junior (due in six weeks) gets a little older, he'll be finding out he wants one too! Now I got lucky selling all mine aged 15, ad in local paper turned into a guy coming round and buying the whole layout for a very good price. I'd stick yours on eBay though, cursory looks at hornby prices in toy shops means that's exactly where I'll be looking later.

I would be interested in the intercity 225. Just the train tho? Would you split and how much?

eBay is your best bet. Split it out to individual items, if you're up to it, and list it all with descriptions (which you can get of the internet) and decent photos. There are several model railway web sites and forums but to be honest most people looking for something will also search eBay.

This is a very good idea. I got my son a Scalextric 12 years before he was born, and he loved it even then. Mrs wijit was unsure though.....

If the other lad will take the 225 train I would take the track and power pack.
