Also given the SNP have said they want to renationalise the Royal Mail how will they actually do that? The price has risen significantly and they have huge debts. Also given all the management structure is physically in the rUK how would it work? They would have to create all those positions AND the pension fund for those who are based in Scotland would have to be taken on by the Scottish Govt

This is but one example where Scotland benefits from the union - there are many many such examples where a common approach and/or economies of scale bring huge benefits to Scotland in terms of costs & services available and hence quality of life.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-26925926

Oh look, the "undecided" one was basically quoted in the middle of that article:"But the claim is robustly denied by the Scottish Government, who point to a list of firms that have invested in Scotland in recent months, including Amazon in Dunfermline and Michelin in Dundee."
Remember telling us how businesses weren't changing investment decisions, and there was no uncertainty caused by the referendum, Burger?
P.S. Wiggles, you've quoted a 2 year old article...

I don't give a hoot
Detek, there's a reasonable chance that, although the recording systems may differ, the criteria may well not.
I was responsible for the development and implementation of an incident recording system in a major Scottish public sector employer (not Police) and had to adapt it to permit the recording of incidents relating to "Equality and Diversity" issues. The order from on high was that there shoukd be no requirement for the incident to be proven as being motivated by race/age/gender, etc. but instead if it were percieved as such by any person (connected or otherwise to the event) then it would be classified as such.

Is half of Scotland really racist/selfish towards the UK, or gullible enough to believe the SNP lies and deceit of a magical new land of money trees and free stuff?
You don't need half of Scotland who might be Nationalist enough, gullible enough, or willing to believe enough; just half of those who are keen and willing to get up and go to the polling station. As with most Polls/Elections the overall result of this decision will probably be won and lost solely on those 'No' voters who can't be bothered, don't think they need to, or don't think it would make a difference to get up and go and make their decision.

Couple of new polls this morning, both showing it quite close.
That's good, many of us English are eager for a yes vote. It's odd that all my life I've described myself as British, but lately I've begun calling myself English. So to an extent Salmon/SNP have already had a victory of sorts by changing my and I imagine others to change their mind set of how we define our nationality. I know it makes no sense, but I will probably avoid buying Scottish products if there's a YES. I've already started looking at them a bit like Spanish or Argentinian produce.

Must check dates of stuff before posting..... Not really what you'd call news... By Staff reporter, 12 January 2012 12.36pm. Updated: 26 November 2012 12:04pm. As you were Wiggly.... Business for Scotland have challenged the cbi to show proof the majority of its members back the union. Fair enough I guess how about business for Scotland showing some big employers back
