Btw - Fluff, we're still waiting to see your "evidence" that London is a leech on the Scottish economy, or whatever it was.
20th Century, with sources.
laugh Oh, boy, Wings over Scotland! rofl
Follow the links to the sources, ignore the analysis if you like...
Have you tried following the links to his sources? They do not go anywhere other than his own website.
worldofstuart.excellentcontent.com! You couldn't make it up!

Is this the same Wings over Scotland website that's hosted in London?

Damn those English and their nasty London IP addresses leeching all the traffic from those poor Scottish hosts.

Authored in England, hosted in England - all except his 'excellent content' which seems to be in Canada.

The sources are in the spreadsheet.

You mean these wonderful references:

http://parlipapers.chadwyck.co.uk/fulltext/fulltex...

Feel free to follow that. It takes you straight to a copy of the original source. Oh no, wait, it disnae, it takes you to a paywall, which seems to be possible to get through with an NLS login, but I've logged into my NLS account and there is no obvious route through. Given the "WoS always cites its sources therefore it is correct" spiel that seems to get used all the time, you would think he would learn how to actually cite a reference(hint copying and pasting a dead link doesn't count).

Still all the WoS devotees are exclaiming what a wonderful article it is - I'm sure they've all been and checked the sources.

I'll tear him down quickly, it's not even worth doing properly.

http://www.dippam.ac.uk/eppi/documents/18910/page/...

That's a page from a parliamentary paper, which includes numbers for England & Wales, Scotland, and Ireland.

England and Wales had 32% of revenue spent locally, and Scotland 34% that year.

As I say, I can't be arsed to find all of the years my homeboy (we're both from Bath, after all) has used, but I'd take a punt about the proportions being similar.

What does it mean? It means that Scotland got an empire on the cheap. Far, far cheaper than Darien, anyway.

So Fluff/WoS/Rev Stuarts figures are all misleading nonsense. What a surprise.

Can someone tell me if that website is genuine or if its just a piss take?
It just seems to be full of crap and the logo is a little too much like the Reichsadler for my liking.

It's a propaganda site for the converted, it puts out nonsense to convince the Nats that what they think is right. It's published in England by a bloke in Bath who calls himself the Rev Stuart, we can only assume that Rev stands, in his case, for "Revolting" because it's not a valid religious title.

He's a former games journalist where he has been described as ""Despicable [and] universally hated by the games industry."

Me neither
No and I've never seen Vote Yes spray painted onto a wall either.

Marketing material isn't graffiti.

Ever seen No posters or marketing, or No campaigners on the street?

The newspaper comments are interesting - the paper is getting attacked now for publishing the story of the graffiti and hence - in the eyes of the Yesers - showing union bias.

One Yes poster - in effect defending the graffiti - accuses those defending the story and reporting "knuckledragging idiots". The irony.

So would all the Scots have to leave the UK if they voted yes? As they wouldn't be in the EU, so wouldn't be able to work or live there anymore?

Can't see it having been discussed anywhere in the news, I assume it's something that would come a little later on the in the negotiations. Interesting though.

Shouldn't think so - I imagine that all Scots would have dual UK/Scottish nationality...

That's what I thought, in which case, what's all the fuss about?

Let them go and be done with it. If we can still live and work there, and they can still live and work here, then not much will have changed. Granted, the will have massively shot themselves in the foot in a number of ways, but that's their decision.

Post Yes, if the Scots in rUK had to go back to Scotland the average intelligence of both countries would increase.
