I'm honestly speechless. I was excited at the prospect of Subaru and Mitsubishi bringing their rally cars back to the UK this year but I'm stunned by the price of the EVO. Available in frost white only it will cost £50k! Am I alone in wondering what is going on here?

with it being a limited number I'd imagine they'd hold their prices better than other cars. especially if it's going to be the last evo

If they dont sell then the are overpriced.
If they sell out, then they are underpriced.
I bet you the sell out.

They will sell out but the numbers coming to the UK are extremely limited are they not?

Thats the whole reason they stopped selling them in the uk. Prices got too silly.
I was surprised to see the new scooby at 28,995, well done to them.

Exactly what i was thinking, just goes to show it can be done. I can't see how the evo can be worth 21k more than the Impreza, limited edition or not!

This. I agree on the Subaru though! Well done for pricing it sensibly! I just don't know if I'll be able to bring myself to buy one...currently in an M135i and just had a guy in a blue impreza fly up behind me and sit on my bumper - they are associated with neds and every time I eyeball a driver, he always seems to fit this stereotype which is a pity as I really like the car!

I have owned my Impreza since new and i have loved every second of the last 8 years in it. I have to agree though, they do have a poor image and many are driven by donkeys but the truth is there are more die hard enthusiasts than idiots out there. The big problem is the idiot stands out like a sore thumb and creates the image most owners hate. The M3 has a reputation for being owned by meat heads and dicks but thats only because of the few.

All that said, I wouldn't allow the handful of chavs put me off what is an outstanding machine and I cant see me getting rid of it any time soon.
