Been dreaming about this and how can make it road legal here in Perth.....

You could possibly do it on a conditional rego as a DRC (dedicated rally car). You get limited road use and would have to actually compete in it.

Not much useful info online but if you contact the CAMS office in WA they can tell you about it.

And CTS have another 80s great in store, this time with a slightly more sensible price tag...

That is actually a sensible price and probably not far off being inline with the price of a good one in the UK. What gives with the price?! If it is on consignment from an owner they would be getting much less than that after CTS take a cut.

I've been looking at those for a long while but keep reading about large blind spots caused by those rear pillars. Everyone I speak to says "just get a Prado" but they just look so dull.

Good man! Spotted this on the weekend, so can't be all that bad - Clayton Bespoke usually have a range of enjoyable motors for sale

Thanks guys. There is a bit of a blind spot but to be honest the mirrors are huge and if adjusted correctly it eliminates it a bit.

Probably one of the most enjoyable 'cars' I've owned, fairly quiet, nice smooth gear changes and plenty of power, it sounds quite good under harsh acceleration!

Loads of room, very comfy seating and a really nice chunky feel to it. Surprisingly economic too, got 9L/100Kms last weekend heading down south to grape country!

I've just picked up the new company car (Hilux frown ) and my Commodore gets so little use I'm thinking of selling it.
Just started looking at what bike to get next, having a bit of a rationalise as I need to recover from the massive financial drain of this year (yes she has a name but we won't mention it) so I'm thinking of replacing the 2 bikes with 1 even though it will mean compromising.

Rode an 012 Fireblade last week, still considering a 'Busa as it would be better for the occasional pillioning of daughter#2 and new GF... Going to try out a ZX10R next week

All fantastic Rob.

If you're looking at a 968 you must speak to Bruce @ Buchanan Automotive.

That is loverly. Seems a bit steep though, as it's not very original.

That's why it hasn't moved. Also the Left to Right can be an issue, those Porsche chaps on the Sydney Northern Beaches reckon 70% of conversions are poor.

Two years ago there's was beautiful 1970 911 S, original but for some light rallying work. They were asking circa $110K from memory but like a muppet I pontificated too long and it was sold. Yet another that got away...

I'm looking at 911's quite a bit of late (I have no idea why, I've no money post-divorce) and am torn between a 996/7 or a 964/classic ..

I'm thinking the older ones are winning at the moment.

But i should really get a 4x4 ute first.

I recommend the Rangey.

The rest are a bit tempting for a man with your licence conditions wink

Is it wrong to immediately recognise that sofa?

And how is the Jag running?

Strangely no issues to report, just reliable fun.

Doing a few K's on it now, using it daily.

Helicopter.

Bell 429. Only way to get around.

45m from the central coast to out past Bathurst.

Client has one. Apparently flying me out is cheaper than paying me hourly rate to drive out...
