I thought when there was a strike everyone stayed at home for the day. I will be walking if the taxi queue is toooooo big. I have a hip flask to keep me company until I get there drink

If there's a tube strike, I can neither get there or back. We don't all have the luxury of simply sending our gamekeepers to collect us in one of the staff pool cars...

If we all pitch in I am sure we can get a taxi to run us around to the various stations that we need to get to. The Euston /Kings Cross lot will be easy! Lewis would be a bit more problematic as it is underground all the way.

Waterloo - Putney South West Trains - takes 13 minutes. Admittedly we will have to get Lewis to Waterloo as he won't know how to get there.

FFS men.
Of all people WE should not allow the legacy of Bob Crowe to spoil our drinking.
Lewis: You have a Yeti: Use it!
The rest of you, these tube strikes always turn out to be a damp squib. Walk if you must; or get the tube which will probably be running more efficiently than normal.
