Only ever been to Silverstone the once and sat between Stowe and Vale on the bank, but I'm planning on going in the grandstands for this, am I right in thinking the top of Village would give a pretty panoramic view? Including Maggotts / Becketts? or am I best taking a long walk for that? Not that there's much choice of grandstands on the Saturday.

Take a stroll around the whole circuit during the race. It is 6 hours you have to play with

From the FIA website

"The 2014 6 Hours of Silverstone, the opening round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, will take place on Easter weekend (18-20 April). As well as being able to purchase tickets at a great value price, every fan traveling to Silverstone on race day will have access to the pitwalk and autograph session from 10am on Sunday morning, with the chance to meet all the drivers taking part in this year’s championship.

This is the same for every round of the FIA WEC where the fans are accorded unprecedented access to the paddock, teams and drivers. – this is called the Spirit of Le Mans.

In addition at Silverstone the fans can take part in the European Le Mans Series autograph session at 13:15 on Saturday 19 April.

Every ticket is all inclusive, with unreserved grandstand seating, car parking, paddock entry, entertainment and pitwalks all included in the price."

I wonder if they'll have the free buses again, as the new pit lane is a long way to get to from anywhere!!

The buses might be there but the Lotus LMP1 car won't - there's a shocker

Can we still dream with a tunnel connecting Club corner and the paddock complex? The buses are a pita really. Silverstone tweeted that the weather is going to be good. Accuweather is saying it might rain frown. So it might be as cold as last year. Let's hope not thumbup

Notputting the tunnel in was quite a big oversight. But I can't see them putting one in retrospectively.

Come off it. They deliberately left it out to make it as difficult as possible for you commoners to mix with the rich lot!

Although a bit of me isn't laughing as I think this is probably true frown

Am I right in thinking it's Woodcote or the pit straight as the only options for a covered seat?

Becketts is as well and I think one of the village ones is. Are they all going to be open though?
