Considering a cheap Tuscan if somebody buys my 540i that I've just put up in the classifieds...

Beyond the buyers guide (very helpful) is there anybody that knows the £12k tuscan on here? - am ok with a bit of work

I presume that CAT registrations are commonplace (not necessarily a no-go) especially at this price-point - I presume that of the chassis was ok the car as a whole will be good?

Small world!

Looks good...just starting to look atm, just need to sell my 540i and scrape together the funds and you may have a call (if it hasn't been sold already...)

You coming over to the dark side Keith?

Oh, and cheap Tuscans don't exist. Available purely on a pay now or pay later basis. Either way, you'll pay. laugh

So was eBay not enough money for you? Not looking good if you're trying to sell it and you are asking 2k more for it than eBay auction raised.....

cat cars put people of because cat cars put people of,its when you come to sell them you realize that.i bought a car once and found out later it was a cat c,i got compensation from the dealer, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the car,but when i sold it i had to take a huge hit!!!!
never again unless i bought at a hugely reduced price!

Kind of agree. Just read the advert, strangely doesn't say bought it off a friend last week for £2k less than I'm trying to sell it now.

Could almost be construed as being a scam........

I think it happens quite often - people see it is not going to sell for as much as they'd like - so they bid with a different account to push the price up/prevent sale at a low price.
