I am having some problems with MB finance and keen to hear people's view. Basically.....
I changed my car in December 2012 and I thought I was due about £600 back in settlement fees. As I was moving house at the time, I didn't have enough energy to pursue. However, I have just received the cash into my account. They never wrote to me to advise me of this and I had to call them.
Basically they say the account was settled in December 2012 and it is there practice to hold cash and return at a later date. But 15 months seems a long time to hold funds!
I have lodged a complaint to ask why this has happened. I didn't receive any statement from December 2012, so feel they may have breached FSA requirements.
Has anybody else experienced this?
