Thanks for all the info so far, has really helped me, how easy is it to get the 100amp fuse moved to somewhere more convenient,

Warwickgriff, let me know when you move down, would be good to meet.

That looks lovely and well looked after, can't see you getting many problems from that thumbup

I would suggest that you attack it with a hose to see if there are any leaks if it's been kept in a garage.

just bought a stereo, ( I know the best noise comes from the car ) but this one has bluetooth for handsfree calling, have managed to take the old one out as bit of a bodge job as cut wires and bear wires everywhere so my first real job is to wire in the stereo properly. Then prob a de-cat Y piece. Where did you start.

First mod for me was the hot start mod, thanks to it not re-starting in a busy city street on day one.

But the most important first mod isn't a mod at all - go to a TVR guy (who knows the settings etc) with a proper 4 wheel aligner and get a full 4 wheel alignment done (after he has checked over the suspension etc to make sure it is all in fine fettle). It will transform your car.

Hi all, first time post so be gentle, just bought my first chimaera on Saturday and well pleased, drove it from Coventry where I picked it up from to fleet in Hampshire with no problems at all, tbh was expecting to breakdown or something but now have the faith in it, 124 miles and only used 4 gallons of fuel, (31mpg) excellent I though but did drive it like a pussy as it was the first time I had driven one, can anyone tell me what I need to look out for problem wise.
Is that Mendip Blue, ( Aston Martin colour) just curious as the first Chim I ever looked at was a 96 registered blue from......Fleet in Hampshire.
Car looks fantastic, I hope you're pleased with it

With a new cross bolted V8D block, H beam rods, and forged pistons... Had a porous block, could have got it top hat linered, but went for the option with greatest future power potential frown

Many thousands of pounds later............. It's fecking awesome wink

Hi fatboychim, I'm not sure what blue it is but once the log book is returned I will let you know, what a coincidence that your first one was the same as mine in colour and year and from Fleet
