Anyone want a job fixing F1 cars?
Discussion
Last time we tried this it worked well. So once again with a stupidly busy season looming we need another person. We work almost exclusively with F1 cars from the V10 era with the odd bit of turbo era and other similar technology single seaters thrown in (A1GP, GP2 etc.).
We require another engineer to join us to assist with the rebuild, recomissioning and support of F1 cars. You must have good experience of single seaters or prototype cars, be able to manage your time and budget effectively to achieve sucesful completion of projects and have a genuine passion for what you are doing. Knowlege of Moog hydraulics in motorsport applications, motorsport wiring loom standards and engine/gearbox control system knowledge is a distinct advantage.
The pays decent, the atmosphere is great and you get to work with proper F1 cars with proper F1 technology on them in a very clean, warm and well presented enviroment (this is a lab coats and team wear rather than grubby overalls and dirty floors workshop!).
Any interested parties please send me a message.

Even though I'm not paid much I manage to get to a couple of F1 races a year, and when i go, i really enjoy it.poppopbangbang said:

I am sure I can pick this up quite quickly. hydraulics is the squeezy clicky wet bits isn't it?poppopbangbang said:

When posting a job advert of any sort a key issue is location. Surely anyone interested would need to know where are you?
You've failed the initiative test.Siscar said:

You've failed the initiative test.Sounds like a dream job for me, plus I am local and been in engineering for the last 7 years.
Have worked on plenty of cars in my own time, but unfortunaltely don't have any experience on the motorsport side of things.
If you would consider a keen 25 year old who learns fast I would definitely be interested
