I want to check I've got this right.
Anti-roll bars reduce roll and roll speed however they reduce inside tyre grip. They also reduce suspension independence. They are used when you can't use stiff enough suspension to get the level of roll and roll speed you want. They reduce weight distribution problems by reducing grip on the axle with more grip.

LSDs lock the inside and outside wheel speeds together when a set torque or speed difference is reached. They offer increased and more predictable traction/slip once locked but can increase the rate of power understeer in a FWD car and power oversteer in a RWD car with excessive locking and/or locking speed. Oversteer is decreased or understeer increased under deceleration unless the LSD is 'unlocked' or 'open' under deceleration like a '1 way' mechanical LSD or an open diff that is then braked to reduce wheel speed.

Thanks.
