R vs S - test drive

How would one go about test driving both back-to-back? I'm always slightly worried about wasting the time of a dealer but nowhere seems to have huge stock of both so unless I find a place with an S and an R in colours/spec that I like, I'd feel a bit rude asking for a test drive. How have others dealt with this?

If it was me, I'd go to a dealer than has one of the cars in a spec that I liked and explain the situation. I suspect they'd be quite happy with you test driving both on the basis that there's a 50% chance that you wont end up with any interest in buying from them.

Which S are you referring to? The K-series VVC (156bhp) 111S, the Toyota 1ZZ (134bhp) S, the Toyota 2ZZ (217bhp) SC or the supercharged Toyota 2ZR-FE (217bhp) S?
