Chaps,

Shades of Green

Can any Bentley aficionados identify the rather beautiful shade of Green on the enclosed photographs. Are the two the same colour? Does anyone know of anything online which shows late 90s Crewe colour charts?

Cheers,

Edward

I don't think it's Sherwood as my old Arnage was Sherwood and looked like this:

Edward. Do not make a decision on colour from a computer screen. Every screen will show a different shade of colour, sometimes quite extreme. When we updated our website we looked at it on four different lap tops sitting side by side. The border was light blue. All showed slightly different shades and on one lap top it looked lilac.

As has been previously mentioned the Continental R looks like Sherwood assuming that it isn't a special colour that was specified at the time of build (might be Brooklands or Balmoral which were both metallic greens from memory). The Arnage is, as again previously mentioned, Mulsanne, unless that was also specially ordered.

I can't say as I have seen a colour chart on line but if you get the paint code and Google it you will usually get the right colour name from that.

I've got various colour swatches dating back from the 80's that were handed out by the factory when I was selling the cars, but I would imagine they would be difficult to get hold of now.

Perhaps it was a special order colour as I am fairly sure it is not Brooklands, Mulsanne, Balmoral or Sherwood green...

I'd be 90% certain that the Cont R is Sherwood and the Arnage is Mulsanne, if you want to be 100% sure then get the chassis No and call customer services at the factory and they can check the system and confirm. What do you want to know for?
