I'm going to sell my tamora because it hurts my knee getting in and out and I put a link to my ad on pistonheads !!

The post has been removed , I could understand it if I posted to a different site, but not the same.

Any way if it does sell what should I replace it with that might be a little better on the knee.

Sorry but we don't allow adverts or links to your own adverts in the forums as it contravenes the rule of posting no.6.

Hope the knee gets better soon. I had a problem with my back a few years back and had to sell My Tuscan. cry

What you need there is a disabled permit.

Then you could see how long it took to get on the front of the papers.

If you're really lucky you may even be interviewed by plastic-woman from Sky News.

And the BBC will have you killed.

TBH, I don't think there's anything else out there that you could replace the Tamora with, if we're talking virtually like-for-like. I know this because I came to this conclusion when I was looking last year.

You could go for an Arial Atom V8 I suppose... driving

hehe

One thing is almost certain though - once you've sold it, irrespective of your knee problems, you will miss it, probably more than you now realise....

Keep the Tam and get the knee "sorted" ??

Full knee or half a knee will let you enjoy a rare and getting rarer model.

I promise we'll not call u Daffknee afterwards...8-))

Big Al, sorry they don't replace backs (not even half-back or full-back) 8-))

Fortunately my knee doesn't need rleplacing , but if I keep the tam , it might need to be!!!!

I think I will look at a chim at the weekend, so far a boxster, 968 , slk doesn't make my knee hurt. It just the something about the door seat arrangement that sets it off, my s2000 used to do the same thing and a z4 does as well.

Pushing the clutch isn't a problem, it's twisting it getting in a out that hurts

I don't suffer getting in and out of the Chim (well, not knees anyway), but I have got a degenerative thing going on in my knees, and have to wear elasticated Velcro type knee braces to restrict joint rotation when skiing... They only take moments to wrap on, just wondering if these might help.... take it off soon as you're in the car, put it back on before you get out.... Gotta be worth a try?

I once got into an exige in a show room, I had to crawl out of it! If the roof is of a Elise getting in and out isn't a major problem

There is more than one way to get in and out of a TVR! There was even survey thread a while back on this, but can't find it at present. Some options being one leg first, head first, bum first - owners adjusting their entry according to various aches and pains - if you haven't already, then suggest you try a few alternatives before taking the drastic step of selling.
