Banned but given no warnings

You have been banned from Speed, Plod & the Law for offensive posting, after more than enough warnings."


All very well, but I've had no warnings on any thread for a good while and AFAIK posted nothing offensive. An averagely heated debate with protagonists on both sides.

I've not sworn or questioned anyone's lineage. Has it got to the stage that you're not allowed to argue your own corner against weight of others' opinions? I know a ban can be considered if enough complain about a post but surely if these complaints are merely because others don't like your opinion the mods remain objective and don't even consider it. Do they?

More curious than anything else, could someone explain the non existent 'warnings' as well please?

All other warnings would (by routine) be by way of deletion mails on posts, threads, or forum & thread bans.

Those may end up in your junk may folder as they do occasionally on mine.

Thanks for the reply.

I've had no warnings of any kind, deleted mails or threads bans for some time.

I check my junk folder regularly as my business and academic pursuits require constant monitoring for changes to appointments, assignment guides etc.

Please could you speak to one of your colleagues and find out why I have been told I've received warnings when I absolutely have not.

I banned you. And the reason I banned you was for the offensive comment you directly made against another PHer.

Considering your history on PH and having been banned from other forums already (by other mods) for similar offences, I would have thought it pretty obvious; plus also lucky not to have a permanent ban.

If you don't like it, then please take it up directly with Nathan.
