Need to get that judge a couple of weeks in Aberdeen, sort out the pond scum there, refreshing result for a change!

I asked the officer in charge of the case whey the penalty was so generous. He said it was the value of the assets stolen (8 Range Rovers altogether) and "the general inconvenience that everyone was put to".

Shortly after I posted the sentence I received the written witness care confirmation and it seems that the one who got one year was conditionally discharged. However, having been on remand for 5 months he's effectively have served his sentence I imagine.
