Please can anyone confirm the number of settings on the later style ally push button heater blower. Mine appears to be off and high. Handbook suggests 3 or is this the early turn control?

Thanks in advance.

It is infinitely variable between min and max. The control box under the dash is a known failure point.

Agreed. Mine is push on, push off, turn for volume.

If you are having issues, you can only work out what is happening with the ignition fully on and the engine off.
No fan? Check the fuse, but as said, the control box was my problem. It is under the dash top, fairly central IIRC. black metal box size of a double thick fag packet, big white connector at one end. One of the wires into the terminal box is too thin for purpose and burns out at the connector. Fix is to bypass it. My first ever solder job.

To get the dash top off, buy a 10mm ratchet ring spanner. Two nuts passenger side, both accessed by removing the glove pocket. One nut driver's side, bloody awkward, up near the driver's air vent. I managed without undoing this one. PM me if you need to know where the nuts are.

Thanks all
I had dash out doing a carbon skin job and led bulb upgrade and wanted to check before the top goes back on. Found and checked the control unit appears ok.
