Had a go of Carob's new 450 today........... perfect power distribution all the way through the gears, smooth and a very nice place to be. Comfortable and easy to drive, all in all what a lovely car. There's just something that..... I dont know. ....... its not an event every time the key turns and it starts. The car has so much more than a wedge but it just doesn't have that wedge thing.

The wedge is a visual thing and I truly would love one but, ....I drove one and compared to a sorted chim it ain't there.

My ideal car would look like a SEAC, drive like a sag and have the quality of an eighties Volvo.

i know that's asking too much but I can dream, (which is what I'm gonna do now wink

I'd love a SEAC wedge exterior with my Chimaera's power and interior. I just do not buy that wedge interior. It reminds me too much of the wedge that Aston Martin produced under the Laughgonda badge.

Jeff is a good lad guys, and really enjoyed the Chim, a general all round TVR nut just like me. Both cars have different pluses and minuses and they both have a TVR badge on the nose.
