That has already been done in the news article you are talking about.Well that was predictable, the dirt-digging exercise must be immense.
This was fiction, wasn't it?
Rumour has it that Conservative Campaign Headquarters is refusing to send any more staff looking for skeletons in Nigel's closet - quite hard to get some of them back out of it, apparently.

They're interchangeable reactions to any negative story regards UKIP.
Farage could be found on live TV with a dead priest on his dick and 24 box files full of child porn and proof of tax evasion and it would all be some kind of non story / establishment conspiracy against him.
That would be upsetting as it would be evidence he has joined the Conservatives...Farage could be found on live TV with a dead priest on his dick and 24 box files full of child porn and proof of tax evasion and it would all be some kind of non story / establishment conspiracy against him.

Claim £60k in allowances that UKIP says it "doesn't want. We don't want British MEP's costing the taxpayers all this money". Way to make a stand, Nige.
Then on the UKIP website they want to be transparent and show where the money goes and this allowance had gone to pay for his office. Except the office is entirely rent free.
Everyone is at it and frankly I don't blame them. I'd rinse it for all it was worth given half the chance.
This thread is more about the blinkered UKIPHers who would stand up for Nige whatever he does. And, predictably, they have.
Your first sentence clearly demonstrates that you don't understand how this works at all. Then on the UKIP website they want to be transparent and show where the money goes and this allowance had gone to pay for his office. Except the office is entirely rent free.

He has not claimed this allowance.
It is paid automatically.

My understanding is that in the EU they give you the money to spend as you see fit. Rather than spending some money and claiming it back. It literally is an allowance, like pocket money.
ETA: "A former senior Ukip official"... Sour grapes? Also, where are the comments on that article? The Telegraph normally has comments.

Times story falls apart as key source reveals his responses were distorted by the paper
David Samuel- Camps who was quoted in The Times smear piece today has written to the paper making clear that the story has distorted his responses to the questions he was posed. We publish his full unabridged letter below:
"I am extremely concerned that in your report you have distorted my responses to your questions regarding the Lyminster office costs.
"On the front page you quote me as stating that the costs were £3000 per year. This is grossly incorrect. I told you that the previous manager had tied the office into some supply contracts and as a result the monthly costs were some £2000. I told you several times that I eventually reduced the costs to £700 per month. When I went to school we were taught the times tables and that £700 times 12 equals £8400 (which is not too far removed from Mr Farage’s £1000 per month) so where on earth did you come up with a figure of £3000?
"At no time did I say that “electricity, heating, and business rates at the office totalled less than £250 a month”. I told you that I could not remember the individual amounts as it was over four years ago but they would have been in the region of £200 each.
"Later, you then contradict yourselves by quoting me as saying that the costs were £700 per month - which is correct. You asked me a number of times about the £700/month figure which I confirmed several times; again I have to ask how does £700 per month equate to £3000 per year? I should also point out that our conversations were witnessed.
"To the best of knowledge and belief I was completely honest in my answers and resent the fact that those answers have been completely distorted. I did warn you that there is a small minority who are 'mischief makers' – one in particular who would go to any lengths to destroy Mr Farage’s reputation.
"I expect you to publish corrections as outlined above.
"Finally, I should point out that the Lyminster is nowhere near Bognor Regis; it is on the outskirts of Littlehampton, a fact that could have been verified by looking at an AA road atlas!"

Hmmm no comments on the Guardian, Independent and BBC either. You might think that they're concerned that someone might post something with an ounce of truth about it.

Previously I have voted Conservative. However with each smear you read against Farage/UKIP the more certain I am that I will not vote for any of the 3 main parties even if there was no UKIP candidate to vote for.
I have to say, the repeated attacks look ever more devious and desperate. What is the more distasteful is that by concentrating on the trivia, the media and mainstream political parties continue to try and derail or smother the actual topics of debate which I do believe are of real concern not only to UKIPers, but voters (or at least previous voters) of other parties too.
