i want to buy a standard motorcycle battery to run a tyre compressor and oil pump.
these devices need 6 and 12amps, and would need to run for around 5 mins, maybe just over 10 would be nice.
Not buying in UK so i just want to pop in to supermarket and buy a normal 12v battery (not deep cycle - they're expensive here)
So, how small a battery can i go to realistically achieve this and not ruin the battery in just a couple of years?
simple man maths: 20% depletion of a 6ah battery would give 6amps for 12mins, or 6mins of 12amp
Battery will be conditioned immediately after use.

Maybe you could find a alarm ,disabled scooter or golf cart battery as these are sealed lead acid and would also work
