Oops.
I managed to break a pin on the 26-pin socket on the instrument panel heating control PCB on my Tuscan 2.
I had taken the pod out, as I needed to make a letterbox-type aluminium surround for the radio (which had not been fitted properly so had no support).
There was very little cable allowance, on the main cable, so I unfortunately broke the centre front pin on the socket :-( when I reassembled it.
I now seem to have no fan speed control and no LEDs around the fan speed and heating knobs, so assume that there is now no power getting to the PCB (well, it was worth a try as the pin did not seem to match up with a circuit 'line' on the PCB.
My question is, although in the past I recall seeing a similar topic here I cannot find it now, does anyone know who could replace the 26-pin socket, please?
I googled and found PS Electronics, but they have not responded to email and their (mobile only) phone number is 'temporarily unavailable'!
I recall that it was one of the ladies who built the originals, who offered a repair service.
Can anyone throw some light on the matter, please?
Cheers
Paul

Paul Smith at PS Electronics is the main guy.
I've been dealing with Paul quite a lot recently, including yesterday, so he's definitely around.
I did have a problem trying to contact him on his mobile number the other day, similar to you. Keep on trying.
Emails usually get answered same day, usually night IIRC.

Yep, Paul Smith sorted my mirror control pad & ecu on my Mk.1.

Turned 'round in about a week. I tried to 'phone at the end of the day - 4 or 5pm.
