24 Month Rule Re Mileage

Now, I realise that the 24month rule applies to claiming car milegae on my commute to & from Bloodhound to work, however, somebody has suggested that the rule does not apply to mileage on a cycle & that I can claim the 20p per mile ad infinitum.

Can anybody verify this?
