Had a few electrical issues lately, which resulted in having the dash ECU and pod fixed.

I'm now occasionally getting the 245 error code, which - after a search on here – I assume could be caused by the alternator; it was also accompanied by a battery reading of 12v. It's currently charging at 13.1v, without the error code, but I'm sure it's time to invest in a new alternator.

So, where's best to source an alternator? What car is it sourced from?

Thanks.

PS If someone could correct the speeling on my topic title, it would be excuse my sausage fingers

It's off a disco but the pulley is specific to the tvr so you need to take it off the old one. Use the search function for old threads about this as I have seen the part number quoted. No need to pay the tvr tax for an alternator.
