Looking for a fun toy. Outright speed not crucial, ability to go sideways at will is.

Max budget £6k.

Suggestions and reasoning please.....

Rx8, cheap to buy and plenty of aftermarket parts available to turn it into a track toy.

RWD, torquey, has a proper engine?

I'm sure you could haggle the £489 off...

A little extra caution would be in order with that dealer if the many reviews are to be believed.

I guess a Z4 might be an obvious choice or perhaps a 500 or 55 merc for a bit more comfort.

Might that get you in to an E39 M5 or E46 M3? If not, 330 E46? Nissan 350Z?

You didn't say it had to be practical, so what about a Westfield with a Zetec donkey?

Practicality not an issue ,track slags welcome subject to road legality.

Reliability important, and a westy is very possible , but as I'm not a small chap, I'm not sure about comfort and fit...
