Car Battery Not Holding charge
Discussion
Stupidly let my battery fully discharge by allowing my kids to sit in and play in the car whilst I was doing some gardening.
Had it on my admittedly low power crappy charger over night and whilst it gave it enough juice to turn over, after being sat at work all day the car only just managed to turn over enough to fire.
Tested the voltage whilst it was running and am happy enough the alternator is giving enough juice.
Question is do I take the battery to a service centre and have it properly recharged or would this be a fruitless endeavour and should I just get a new battery.
Car is 10 years old, at a guess it's the original battery.
